Massachusetts efficient appliance rebate program launches Thursday
Massachusetts residents will be able to apply for up to $200 in rebates per household if they replace refrigerators and room air conditioners with Energy Star-rated appliances from Thursday.

The rebates come under the Massachusetts Energy Efficient Appliance Rebate Program, set to launch on July 28, 2011.

The Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) said that the call center line for questions about the program is now open to supplement the program’s website for those unable to access the Internet, and can be accessed by dialing (877) 574-1128.
