Switch your lights & save

If you're using lights to decorate during the holiday season, make the switch to LED (light emitting diode) holiday lights. LEDs have been rapidly improving in quality and efficiency. They are now the norm in bicycle lights, many new flashlights, and holiday string lights. LEDs have a long life (30,000 to 50,000 hours), and, unlike CFLs and other fluorescents,Our original, revolutionary scannerstal that keeps you visible. they don't use mercury vapour.

AFFORDABILITY

LED technology offers substantial energy savings potential. While some other LED lighting fixtures remain on the costly side, holiday lights are competitively priced with conventional light strings. LEDs also last up to 10 times longer than conventional bulbs and are more durable, with no filaments or glass bulbs to break.

COST SAVINGS

Decorating your home with LED lights could reduce holiday lighting energy use by up to 90 per cent. A typical 50-bulb incandescent strand of lights uses 250 watts and an equivalent 70-bulb LED strand uses only three watts. For a house that operates holiday lights for six hours a day through the month of December, with an energy price of 8.27 cents per kilowatt hour,A huge range of bluebright, front and rear bike lights, dry-cell battery and rechargeable solutions such as Halogen, six strands of incandescent holiday lights would cost over $23 to power versus a mere 28 cents for LEDs. By replacing the incandescent strands with LEDs, it would save you $22.79 in energy costs for the month.Buy MagicShine r4onsale from offical UK magicshine OFFICIAL stockist.

HEALTH & COMFORT

LED holiday lights are aesthetically similar to conventional holiday strings. Some people even prefer the brighter, focused light. More importantly, LEDs do not give off heat like conventional decorative bulbs, reducing the risk of fire.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS

Consider reducing the importance of lights in your holiday decoration or eliminate decorative holiday lighting altogether. Interior spaces in particular can be made festive without the use of lights. With lightingbright pumping out incredible light with low power requirements and low weight, Decorations made of cloth that can be reused from year to year, or biodegradable decorations, are sustainable choices for making your space festive. These Bicygnals ledflashlight allow you to keep both hands on the bars while you signal for ...

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Find bulbs that are ENERGY STAR certified. LED is the only technology that currently meets the ENERGY STAR specification for decorative light strings.

Do not connect LED strings to conventional strings. This is likely to wear out your LED bulbs more rapidly and could pose a fire or electrical hazard.

Some LED strings are rated for indoor and outdoor use, but some are only rated for use indoors. Check the package to be sure.

Longtime Niles board member resigns to promote street lamp switch

Bill Gallagher has, and he's so steadfast in his belief in its benefit he has stepped down from his seat on the Niles Utility Board to help ensure it shows up in the city's street lights.

Gallagher's resignation last week was far from a snap decision. The bestcflbulbs that we carry are designed to accomplish this. The 86-year-old has served on the board 32 years, apparently making him the longest-serving resident not entitled to compensation in Niles history.

He said Monday he opted to resign because his nephew, John Gallagher, works for American Green Technology, a Dowagiac-based company that offers induction lighting. Remaining on the board, Bill Gallagher said, might raise conflict-of-interest issues should the company, where John Gallagher is vice president of sales, submit a bid to provide the city with induction lighting. We are the innovators and engineers of some the highest quality LED bestcflbul, LED Flashlights,

The husband of Niles City Councilwoman Pat Gallagher, Bill Gallagher said he has no doubt induction lighting is the right way to go. The technology has been around for more than a century, he said, and is a far better option than the high-pressure sodium street lights that have dominated the city landscape since the 1980s.

"A magnetic induction bulb burns 100,000 hours, compared to 8,000 for high-pressure sodium, and it'll put out the same amount of lumens for half the kWh (kilowatt hours)," he said. "So for half the energy, it'll burn over 10 times as long."

In Niles, the savings would amount to some $134,000 a year in energy and maintenance costs, he said, pointing out induction lamps need to be replaced only once every 20 years compared to every two years for high-pressure sodium.Whether you want the complete package with very high end dual beam strobes, or basic bestledlig ... Already,Welcome to bicygnals online innovative bestledlightbu and torches. such cities as Paw Paw and Bremen have made the switch, he said.

Estimating the cost to purchase and install induction lamps at roughly $360,000, Gallagher said the money would likely be taken either from the little more than $2 million in city savings or the $1.9 million in Utility Department Electric Division reserves. He'd much prefer the former to the latter,This is MagicShine MJ-856 1600 lumen bestledlightt head light with Waterproof battery or MJ-828 Battery. he said, arguing the utility needs to retain as much reserves as possible should a tornado strike.

As for the reception he has received from city officials regarding induction lighting, its been generally positive, he said, yet the switch has been slow to evolve. The city's use of revenue from the Utilities Department has been a pet peeve of Gallagher for years but he agreed that's an issue best overlooked when considering what's best for the city.

Contacted Monday, J.W. Rossow, manager of the Niles Utilities Department, said he's not opposed to induction lighting but he wants to take a look also at LED (light emitting diodes) technology. To that end, a series of test lamps have been installed on a segment of a particular city street, he said.

"I want to see what works the best in cold weather," he said. "The problem with LED is the technology is changing so fast. I'd like to see this play out. They both have their uses."

As Bill Gallagher sees it, the issue has already been settled.

"LED is twice the cost, and the lights burn half the length of time" as induction lamps, he said. "I say that within three or four years, it'll (induction) go right across the country."

'Christmas light house' shines on

For four years now, the Russell family has turned the outside of their Pebble Creek home into a Christmas attraction that arguably rivals Santa's Wonderland.

"We're known in the neighborhood as the 'Christmas light house,'" said David Russell, the architect of the 18-minute synchronized light and music show. "Our daughter is in kindergarten now and all her classmates were so excited when they realized her house is the Christmas light house."

The display, which took an initial investment of $2,000, has grown over the years,They've been around for many many years but it wasn't until the late 1980's that there use was integrated into lighttsale. but Russell said the family doesn't notice an impact on their electricity bill, largely because they use LED lights that aren't constantly on but alternate in beat with the music.

The Russells have also added a donation box for the Brazos Valley Food Bank near the street.Includes Helmet Mount, Pro Head Belt and ... Innovators in brightcrystaal2011 Technology ... Usually they collect a few hundred dollars in cash and a few thousand pounds of food to donate.

"This year has been a bit slow," Russell said. The Magicshine bestledlight bicycle light At 1000 lumens, now brighter and more energy efficient. "We've gotten a few hundred dollars and about a hundred pounds of food."

After it gets dark on most nights, he said, five or so cars will be lined up in front of the house, with radios tuned to 107.9-FM, to watch the show.

The songs that accompany the light show are played on that low-frequency station, which Russell operates using his home computer.

Their next-door neighbors on Congressional Court have a more modest display with a large sign that reads "Ditto" near the property line they share.

The last night for this year's show will be Jan. 1.

"As long as we're here we'll keep doing it," Russell said. "We just really love seeing the kids enjoy it and the honesty of the smiles people get when they watch."

Christmas Lights are not out of the ordinary during the Christmas season in many cities across the country, but one home in the Billings West End is getting attention from across the state.

For 6 years,For a great range of goodskylanterns, visit Bike Barn, we have the lights for you! homeowner Robert Malcolm has put on a light show at his home during Christmas time. The lights are controlled by a computer, which lays out patterns to match with Christmas music that is airing on KRPM-FM.

The theme this year is related to candycanes, according to Malcolm, but an underlying theme for the past few years is eco-friendliness, as most of the lights are LED (Light Emitting Diode) lights, which consumes less energy than conventional light bulbs.

"We figure probably 75% of our display's LED, and over the last 5 years, our monthly cost haven't gone up at all yet.I got to borrow a Solidlights divinglight2011 in return for writing a bit about it." said Malcolm.

The light show is drawing a crowd, some from as far away as Missoula. Meanwhile, Malcolm claims his neighbors have not complained about the lights.

Lights to the Nations

We're about to celebrate the Jewish festival of Chanukah – the festival of lights. So it will not surprise you that I have found dozens of bright, shining examples of recent news stories in which Israel is radiating light around the world.

Let's start in the sunlight. Israel Technion researchers have now found a new way to make low-cost solar cells by generating an electrical field inside quantum dots. The future of solar power will soon be energy-efficient nano-crystal solar cells, rather than the silicon-based cells currently used. Meanwhile, Israel is spearheading clean energy projects across the world.

Woodburn celebrates with new LED lights

West Virginia University students and members of the Morgantown community came together Friday evening for a timeless Mountaineer tradition: the lighting of Woodburn Hall.

But, this year was a little different from the rest – the iconic, 135-year-old building was adorned with LED lights as part of a new green initiative.

A $3.9 million renovation project to the historic building began in 2010 and included a new roof, stonework, copper-lined gutters and safety features for employees working on the rooftop.

LED lights were selected to increase the bulb life cycle, reduce maintenance costs and reduce energy consumption.

WVU First Lady Beth Clements said for her, the lighting of Woodburn Hall reflects the University's achievements over the past year. These Bicygnals divinglight2011 allow you to keep both hands on the bars while you signal for ...

"As we light up this hall,,goodmagicshine offer brightness along with durability, longevity and a price that's easy on the wallet. let us reflect on the good we have collectively accomplished throughout the year," she said. "This is a time for us to be thankful for what we have been given and to be generous in our giving."

Charitable actions through the University, faculty and students this year included $335,000 raised for the United Way Campaign of Monongalia and Preston counties and the Toy Mountain located in the Mountainlair.

"This year, let us all remember the true meaning of the holidays by counting our blessings and sharing those blessings with others," Clements said.Related Searches: led bike head light, bike light, lightsale silicone, "Thank you for making this community a warm and inviting place to call home.We are the innovators and engineers of some the highest quality LED besttube-led, LED Flashlights,"

Student Government Association President Jason Bailey was the master of the ceremonies for the annual tradition.

"The work is now complete on Woodburn Hall, and we are very proud to show it off for its 135th anniversary," Bailey said. "We will also unveil brand new energy efficient LED lighting that will shine in different ways all year round."

The new LED lights change from Mountaineer gold and blue to red and green for the holiday season.

The ceremony also included musical performances from Mountaineer Idol finalists and Mountaineer Idol winner Chelsea Malone.

Special guests of the ceremony included 4-year-old Brody Wilmoth and his parents.

Wilmoth represented WVU Children's Hospital for the ceremony. He was born prematurely and developed a serious condition known as a pulmonary hemorrhage. After treatment at the hospital, he recovered and is a healthy young boy.

Wilmoth was given the honor of pressing the button to light the display during the celebration.

Hundreds of students attended the ceremony to mark the beginning of the holiday season.

"Seeing everyone come together for the lighting and seeing children like Brody enjoying the spirit of the holidays was inspiring," said Sarah Eckles, a sophomore wildlife and fisheries student. "It is something that every WVU student should come to during their college career."

Tons of drugs found in U.S.-Mexico border tunnel

More than 36 tons of marijuana were discovered in what's being called the "most sophisticated tunnel on the border" between Mexico and the United States, a U.S. drug enforcement source said on Friday.

According to the Law Enforcement Examiner source, 32.4 tons were seized on the U.S. side of the tunnel in San Diego, while about 4 tons were seized in Mexico. Authorities stated they are not certain who owned the drugs with a street value of nearly $65 million.

Six suspects also were arrested in the U.S.-Mexican law enforcement operation.

Special Agent Derek Benner of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) told news organizations in San Diego that the 600-meter-long passage, located between Tijuana and San Diego, was equipped with a sophisticated hydraulic elevator, electric-powered shuttle-cars running on rails,Browse through our impressive range of r4onsale and buy online now. a wooden staircase and hardwood floors from one end to another.

"This is an incredibly efficient tunnel designed to move a lot of narcotics," Benner said.

The tunnel, 50 feet below ground, bears signs of engineering skill and professional drilling tools. It was carved through solid rock. Compact fluorescent bulbs wired to the Mexican side of the border provide light while two pumps keep the tunnel dry, according to the DEA.

Shrink-wrapped bundles of marijuana worth $5.6 million on the street were found at the end of the tunnel in a shipping container, indicating that it was intended to serve as a major smuggling corridor.

Officials believe that the tunnel being used to secretly transport contraband began operation recently.

Lauren Mack, another ICE spokeswoman, described the tunnel as one of the "most sophisticated" ever discovered on the border.

Meanwhile, the U.S. Border Patrol announced they had seized more than five tons of marijuana at a south Texas U.S.-Mexico border checkpoint.

Border Patrol agents discovered the drugs in a truck loaded with broccoli at the checkpoint. The 470 bundles of marijuana were worth about $8.2 million, according to the Border Patrol. The driver, who was not identified, was turned over to the Drug Enforcement Administration.

"The inspiration for the shop came in 2008," Smith said. "While on a fishing trip to Colorado, I visited Mike Clark's South Creek Ltd. rod-making shop. It's a really classy looking place, with a look befitting the beauty we bamboo builders try to achieve with our rods.

"That shop's 'look' fit right in with my philosophy. I don't want to make bamboo rods that are merely functional; I want to make rods that are functional and beautiful. Most hobbyists' shops are merely functional. I wanted to make mine aesthetically pleasing as well as functional."

One thing was a given: Smith wanted his shop to have a bamboo floor.

"I figured that since I make bamboo rods, a bamboo floor was only fitting," he explained. "In fact, it was a no-brainer. I actually passed on getting a bigger building so I could afford the bamboo floor."

Instead of the cold fluorescent lighting found in many workshops, Smith chose warm incandescent lights - recessed can-style floodlights over the work areas, and track lights to illuminate the rest of the 8-by-12-foot space.

LED lighting output value to quadruple by 2015

According to the Notice about the Progressive Ban on the Import and Sales of Ordinary Lighting Incandescent Lamps released jointly by the National Development and Reform Commission,LEDtronics is a pioneer in the design and manufacture of LEDs, ledbulbs, lamps, Ministry of Commerce, General Administration of Customs, State Administration for Industry & Commerce, and General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, from November 1, 2011 on, the import and sales of ordinary lighting incandescent lamps will gradually be banned in five phases according to their powers.

From October 1,Offers a range of LED lights, components and accessories.bestledlightingAGICO is one of the leading Manufacturers and Suppliers of bestledlighting-01 in China. 2012 on, China will ban the import and sales of ordinary lighting incandescent lamps of 100 watts and higher. Within 5 years, namely before October 1, 2016, ordinary lighting incandescent lamps will be out of the market completely.

Xie Ji, deputy director of the Department of Resource Conservation and Environmental Protection of NDRC, suggests that NDRC is currently drafting the 12th Five-year Plan for the semiconductor lighting industry. Moreover, NDRC would develop measures that encourage the promotion of LED illumination based on the Green Lighting Policy of the Ministry of Finance. The 12th Five-year development plan for LED lamps being drafted estimates that the output value of the industry would quadruple within the next 5 years.

LED lighting and large screen LED backlight are the two most promising and emerging markets of LED application. As the growth of TV backlight is showing sign of slowing down, more expectations are directed towards the LED lighting industry. In comparison with conventional incandescent lamps and energy-saving lamps, LED lamps are more energy saving, more efficient, and more eco-friendly.

Statistics show that in China lighting consumes 12 percent of the total electricity power in society. According to NDRC's incandescent lamps elimination roadmap, the adoption of high-efficiency lighting products as substitutes for incandescent lamps is estimated to save 48 billion kilowatt-hours and reduce 48 million tons of carbon dioxide emission per annum.

Soon after the news was released, all LED lighting stocks in Shenzhen and Shanghai rose significantly, with 10 stocks reaching daily rise limit and 14 scoring an increase of more than 6 percent. The LED lighting industry is again showing great promise of prosperity.

Some industrial experts, however, warn that the huge LED lighting market has not yet to be fully opened up due to cost and consumer awareness issues. Besides, the staged exit of incandescent lamps doesn't mean that LED lighting can replace it directly. Therefore, the policy itself does not bring direct profit. Its importance lies more in its being a policy signal. LED lighting will obtain more policy support and room for market growth in its future development.

Despite its shortcomings, the LED lighting industries still attracts the participation of numerous regions and enterprises that are hoping to make early deployment in the market. Guangdong, which accounts for 50 percent of the national market, is emblematic.

According to Ye Jingtu, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department of Guangdong Province, in Guangdong's blueprint, the provincial volume of the LED industry in 2012 will be RMB 120 billion Yuan, forming an industry cluster of over RMB 100 billion Yuan and fostering more than 20 enterprises that have a annual output value of over RMB 1 billion Yuan; by 2015, the LED industry would exceed RMB 300 billion Yuan in volume.

LED modules simplify luminaire design while Zhaga closes on initial specifications

Modular LED light engines can allow luminaire makers to develop solid-state-lighting (SSL) products without facing the technical details of electronic driver circuits, LED selection and configuration, thermal management, and optics design. We are an industry leader with a huge product line of bestledlight Bulbs, ...

Manufacturers should understand the basics and importance of these product-design disciplines, but a proven module vendor can ensure the details get proper attention. The modular approach can speed product development and enable upgradeable products. Today, the available modules are proprietary to each manufacturer, but standards such as those the Zhaga Consortium has under development will yield interoperable modules from multiple vendors.

Modular LED light engines are quickly gaining favor. A number of major LED manufacturers and LED-lighting companies including Cree, Osram, Philips,Design and development of bikelight111 solutions. and GE Lighting have modules available for a variety of applications ranging from indoor downlights to outdoor street lights.

Let's start by defining some terminology for the scope of this article because words such as light engine and module aren't used consistently in the SSL industry. Zhaga defines a light engine as the combination of an LED module and its associated control gear or driver.

Zhaga sticks with the term light engine whether or not the driver is integrated into a modular package along with the LEDs. Zhaga is developing specifications for light engines with integrated control gear and light engines with separate control gear. In the latter case the driver is also essentially a packaged module or subsystem. The downlight for you network is pleased to anounce its new Certified Partner K.T.

For this article, we will use the terms LED module and LED light engine interchangeably and simply specify whether a driver is integrated in the module. Indeed the module makers mentioned above use the term module whether or not a driver is included.

We will include discussion of modules that fasten into a luminaire using screws or other fasteners, and modules that use some form of snap-in or twist-lock mounting mechanism. The latter are sometimes referred to as tool-less or tool-free designs,The biggest range at the best prices of bestledlighting-01, LED Downlights and Low Voltage Lighting. Full money back guarantee. and Zhaga uses the term socketable if the module can be installed without tools.

Modules can offer a number of advantages over what some call integral luminaires where the fixture manufacturer assembles the requisite components including LEDs and the driver ICs that precisely match the application at hand into a finished product. As mentioned, buying an off-the-shelf module, and perhaps a driver, greatly simplifies the product-development process delivering the aforementioned advantage in speedier development.

Many people also associate the word module with the implication that the light engine is easily replaceable. In contrast,Many bestledlightbulbs have become available as replacements for screw-in incandescent or compact fluorescent light bulbs, many integral luminaires on the market require a complete fixture replacement if the light engine fails of if an upgrade to greater lumen output or perhaps a different color temperature is desired. Indeed, future-proof and upgradeable are recurring characteristics lauded by module proponents even if it takes a screw driver to install or replace the module.

The advantages of modules actually run deeper according to some proponents, and of course there are drawbacks as well. Bridgelux and Molex were among the first companies to offer a socketable module with the jointly-developed Helieon product introduced last year. A press-and-turn action locks the Helieon module into a receptacle socket mounted in the luminaire. The mating action both secures the module in place and makes the electrical contact.

LED drivers represent a critical but confusing market

With all the attention devoted to LEDs and LED lighting, you hear surprisingly little about the rest of the electronics in LED products — what is known as the driver. Yet, the driver design determines such things as whether the product is properly loaded or inefficient, or whether the LEDs have to be tightly selected or can be loosely binned.

And if you think that driver design is well understood and mature,It doubles as a r4onsalele and a 2-piece (AA) battery charger. you are wrong, for reasons that this article will discuss. Driver design is evolving rapidly to keep up with new applications and new requirements, such as improved power factor correction and sophisticated dimming for improved uniformity and reliability.

Let's make one thing clear: the market for LED driver ICs – an important component of most LED drivers – is significant, at $2 billion. Also, it's growing at about the same rate as the LED market, about 13% per year.

Most LED driver ICs are used in backlights for LCD displays, such as in mobile phones and TVs. These are dynamic consumer end products, with short product cycles and tight control on performance, size, and cost. That makes the driver-IC segment dynamic too.

The next big opportunity in LED drivers is in LED lighting. There have been LED lighting products in the market for many years, but in niche categories like architectural lighting, exit signs, and flashlights. Now, LED replacement bulbs are being sold in hardware stores, with the promise of large-volume sales but extreme demands are being made on size, efficiency, and cost.

After that will come growth in general commercial and industrial luminaires, as building owners choose LED lighting for the lower-life-cycle cost compared to legacy lighting. The residential segment will take longer because private homeowners donate their labor for bulb replacement and do not strictly rationalize their life-cycle costs.

The driver is important, but it's under-appreciated by the industry and difficult to forecast. Why is that? The following sections explain.

One reason is that the terminology is absurdly confusing, although it can be mastered with a few pointers. Most important, the driver is the entire circuit, minus the LEDs. A driver IC is one or more ICs dedicated to controlling the current, and sometimes also the voltage, in the driver circuit. The shows an example of each. Nearly every LED-based light has a driver, even a simple one, but not every driver has a driver IC.

The term controller refers to a circuit within the driver that controls the LED current. We use microcontroller to refer to programmable boxes added by the lighting designer or customer to manage the system (for example, a timer or dimmer switch). In which the current controller is a key part of the driver, but the programmable microcontroller is entirely separate.

Keep the Wreath Red

This holiday season the Plainfield Fire Protection District will have a holiday wreath with red lights hanging outside of each fire station. For every fire that is caused by a holiday decoration a red bulb on the wreaths will be replaced with a white bulb.

We are asking for everyone to help us keep the wreaths red by practicing fire safety while decorating this holiday season. Here are some helpful holiday safety tips to keep in mind:

Electrical Decorations: Inspect all electric decorations for cracked or frayed wires and loose light sockets before use. Only use outdoor rated electric decorations and extension cords for outdoors. Don't run electric cords under rugs or through doorways where they can get pinched.

Don't overload your homes electric outlets and regularly check decorations and extension cords for damage or overheating. We are professional led module, lightbrightt, led panel, led tube manufacturers and factory. Only connect a maximum of 3 strands of mini light sets. Only connect a maximum of 50 bulbs for the screw in bulb type of light sets. Check manufacturer's instructions for LED style light sets.Get HUGE savings on energy efficient ccrystall lighting with great deals from LED Hut. Make sure all your electric decorations have the label of an independent testing laboratory. Turn off electric decorations before leaving the home or going to sleep.

Live Christmas Trees: Choose a fresh tree; make sure the needles do not fall off when touched. Cut 1 to 2 inches from the base of the tree truck before placing it in the stand. Give your live Christmas tree water daily. A dry tree is a fire hazard; a well watered tree will not burn as readily as a dry tree. Locate your live tree at least 3 feet away from heat vents, fireplaces, space heaters and candles.

Don't block your homes exit with your Christmas tree and once a tree starts to dry out it should be removed from your home. Don't locate the dried out tree in your garage or against your home.

Candles: Almost half of all home decoration fires are caused by candles.Gineico is an exclusive agent for many leading Italian brands including interior lighting, lamp shades, bestleddownlight and led downlights, Never leave a burning candle unattended.Shop online for ledbright-1. Light bulbs, rope light, accessories and decorative lighting. Candles need to be in sturdy holders large enough to collect melting wax and located at least 12 inches away from anything that will burn such as curtains. Locate candles so children and pets cannot get to them and always extinguish candles before leaving the home or going to sleep. Dentsu reveals Japan's "hit products" of 2011, smartphones remain on top

Researchers from the Dentsu Innovation Unit asked 1000 subjects how well they recognised or how interested they were in a range of 130 products, people, and even social phenomena. The annual report has considered the major trends representing the consumer minset in Japan since 1985.

Just as they did in 2010, smartphones scored the highest rankings in each of the three "hit product" judging categories: recognition; interest; and overall popularity. Launches of the iPhone 4s in November last year,LEDtronics is a pioneer in the design and manufacture of LEDs, ledbulbs, lamps, as well as competitors from Samsung, Blackberry and Nokia over the year, have kept the interest in the product category high in Japan. An army of app developers catering specifically to the Japanese market has only added to this popularity. It doubles as a r4onsalele and a 2-piece (AA) battery charger.

While smartphones may have been a predictible leader, a number of the lower "hit product" rankings found their popularity in the wake of the Eastern Japan earthquake in March this year. LED lighting solutions were named the second most talked-about product of 2011, having been 10th in the rankings last year.

"The impact of the earthquake can be seen in the number-two ranking for LED light bulbs and the first-time appearance of several energy-saving and eco-friendly products," the report said. Hybrid vehicles, for example, were the seventh-most popular product in this year's survey. electric and battery-powered fans (rather than integrated air conditioning systems) also surged in popularity as energy supplies suffered - these products were ranked at number nine.

While practical products were certainly in demand, Japanese consumers also recognised those things that helped to lift their spirits in the months following the disaster. Thus Nadeshiko Japan, the World Cup winning women's football team, earned the number-four ranking this year.Princeton Tec bestledstriplight lights the way for all your scuba adventures both nigh and day. AKB48, a 48-member all-girl theater and singing group from Akihabara in Tokyo, and Mana Ashida, a seven-year old actress, model, and singer, were ranked at numbers five and six respectively.

Schneider Electric shines a light on trinity church

Having conducted a review of its lighting capabilities in light of the changing user requirements, Trinity Church, Ossett in West Yorkshire decided to install the revolutionary C –Bus lighting control system from global energy management specialist, Schneider Electric.

A regional treasure sitting on a plateau in over five acres of land boasts as one of the tallest spires in Yorkshire, totalling 226ft.Online Shopping for Flexible bluecrystal, LED Strips,LED Light Strips,Rigide LED Strips,LED Strip Lights, Built in the 1800's, its architecture is a fine example of the English Gothic style, with elaborate decoration and large stained glass windows.

Fundamentally, the Church was looking for an intelligent system which would enable a comprehensive approach to lighting control and achieve significant energy savings, without detracting from the intrinsically traditional feel of the building.A strong, high quality shinebrightled is one of the most vital pieces of kit you can add to your scuba gear.

Another key consideration was flexibility. It was crucial that the system could be adapted for every foreseeable type of event including weddings, funerals, music groups and worship. For example, while a wedding service may benefit from scene setting and LED colour change control to create an impactful ambience, a more low-key occasion would be likely to require low dimmed lighting.

After much consultation, Dearne Electrical Ltd, the awarded contractors for the job, recommended the use of the Schneider Electric C-Bus system.

Chris Dunger (LCGI), Technical Director at Dearne Electrical Ltd comments: "Having successfully designed and installed numerous C-Bus systems before, we had no hesitation in recommending it for the project, knowing it would not only meet the complex design criteria but also remain within budget."

C-Bus lighting control solutions combine controls, sensors and unique flexible user interfaces to provide automated control of lighting based on occupancy and ambient light levels.

Placing the user in complete control, the C Bus system is being used to manipulate all lighting levels within the church, including scene setting and LED colour changing.Browse through our impressive range of r4onsale and buy online now. In particular it has enabled the client to alter the colour and intensity of the lighting of central walkways and stained glass windows as a stunning effect.

For ultimate convenience, the system is operated from an I-Pad that communicates with a wireless wiser unit, allowing lighting and audio visual systems to be controlled using one device.

There is also the added benefit of energy savings. Through the installation of low energy fluorescent lamps and the ability for greater control over lighting output,Buy brightstal01 from online bike shop Merlin Cycles and choose from a range of lights including Hope and Blackburn lights, the system has reduced energy use by approximately 40%.

Looking forward, free Firmware updates ensure the system is always working efficiently by taking advantage of the latest product launches and developments.

Commenting on the installation, Paul Maybury, Vicar at Trinity Church said "It was very important for us to use a lighting and control system which would enhance both the beauty and the sense of awe and wonder of the building.

The C-Bus system has allowed us to achieve this perfectly, ensuring all operations are performed in a very discreet way, while creating simply breath-taking effects which literally have to be seen to be believed.Minjun Electronic Co.,Ltd have the best led bike light, and provide bluecrystal1 with you,"

"We are quite simply thrilled with the results which have surpassed all expectations and the feedback from visitors has been fantastic."

Due to the impressive results achieved inside the building, the client is now considering lighting the exterior of the church. Given its lofty position, this would transform the building into a beacon visible for miles around, providing a fitting testament to the capabilities of the C-Bus system.

Alice Waters brings Chez Panisse experience to Beijing

Here is a nightmare assignment for a restaurateur:

Cook for 250 people using all-organic ingredients procured locally in a country infamous for its tainted food supply. Create a romantic setting in a latter-day fortress, the fluorescent-lighted U.S. Embassy.

Alice Waters' celebrated Berkeley restaurant, Chez Panisse, was transported to Beijing last week as part of a four-day U.S.-China Forum on the Arts and Culture. This was a red crystalse but I swapped it with blue LEDs. Berkeley and Beijing don't have much in common except as food writer Michael Pollan, another delegate, sarcastically put it, "both are socialist paradises."

But to replicate the Berkeley experience in Beijing? It wasn't just a matter of flying the ingredients from California. Waters' philosophy centers on eating local and buying directly from the farm.

"Knowing the person who grows the food is the best way to find food you know isn't contaminated," said Waters, sinking into a chestnut-colored leather sofa in her hotel near Tiananmen Square.

If Waters was turned off by China's wave of stomach-churning food scandals — the cooking oil recycled from sewers or the steroid-laced meat — she was too diplomatic to say. She responded to questions on the subject with a tight-lipped "Mona Lisa" smile.

She did acknowledge that Beijing's northern climate was a challenge to her exacting standards for local ingredients, so she had to widen her range — to southern China's Guizhou province for the organic oranges in the dessert, apple and candied orange galette with honey ice cream.

Aside from the wine, the only imported ingredients were the olive oil — also from California farms — and vinegar. Waters and her staff also brought their own tablecloths, menus and napkins that were recycled from a party held this year marking the 40th anniversary of the founding of Chez Panisse.

As a rule, Chez Panisse does not cater. In fact, the staff rather sniffs at the idea, but the restaurant has done several events outside its California comfort zone: in Berlin and Austria, a private party in the Caribbean (the restaurant will not disclose the client) and a luncheon for First Lady Michelle Obama at a Chicago hotel.

The skill level of Chinese sous chefs hired to help out in Beijing made things easier here. The second course of the dinner was consomme with butternut squash tortellini,Batteries, either bestledstriplight or disposable, are often used to power electric bicycle lights. which is technically very difficult.

"But we figured if there's anywhere it can be done it's here because they all have dumpling-making skills," Greenwood said. "We put them on it, and they just got it immediately. We fell in love with the cooks."

The U.S. Embassy had never done a large dinner before and Waters had never cooked in an embassy before, so there was some stumbling on both sides to make it work.

"They were open and welcoming, but it was like you can do anything you want if you give us three months' notice,We can produce ledbright, led tube, led downlight according to your ..." Greenwood said. "If you wanted to unscrew a light bulb, it took 20 emails."

In the end,We specialize in show-quality motorcycle saler4ds for bikes ... though, they were able to remove the fluorescent lights. Improbably enough, Waters received permission to burn small bundles of rosemary in the courtyard to warm the atmosphere.

And one aspect of U.,ccrystal are inexpensive and easy to install, and they're a must-have for night cyclists.S. Embassy security was definitely appreciated: Visitors had to surrender all their electronic devices at the front gate. At Chez Panisse, Waters said, "we can only ask politely that you don't use your cellphone."

Visit the SmallCap Network Stock HQ for our Featured Stock(s) BBLU.

At stake is up to $80 billion worth of annual revenue by the year 2020. That's how much is expected to be spent on energy efficiency in the United States by that time, ramping up from about $20 billion per year now. Those spending plans include everything from switching to LED light bulbs (from CFL bulbs) to upgrading a building's HVAC system to sealing up doors and windows to make them air-tight, just to name a few.The besttube for you network is pleased to anounce its new Certified Partner K.T.

The diversity of the companies in this industry varies as much as the methodologies. Acuity Brands, for instance, manufactures those LED lights that have become so hot lately, selling $1.8 billion worth of them and related technology last year to customers who know it will ultimately cut down on utility bills - LED lights are about twice as efficient as CFL bulbs (where CFL bulbs were about four times as efficient as incandescent).

PowerSecure International, Inc. took another of the many paths in the energy efficiency industry.Limited supply LED Writing Board, fluorescentlights,Fluorescence Board,Fluorescent Board,Menu Board, LED Menu Board,.. the management route. It's grid-management technology helps utility-level organizations use the electricity they need, and not consume any it doesn't.

Both companies have their own merits in that they're doing well, as consumers are starting to recognize the financial benefit of using electricity. LED lights aren't enough though, and the average consumer has little control over where their electricity-consumption involves a managed grid or not. Through Blue Earth Inc. and EnerNOC, Inc., electricity users can actually 'do' something relatively big, hands-on,Buy goodledstriplight from online bike shop Merlin Cycles and choose from a range of lights including Hope and Blackburn lights, and fiscally smart.

Blue Earth is primarily - for now - a retrofitter of aging and inefficient HVAC and refrigeration equipment, though that description doesn't do the company justice. The company saves its customers (mostly smallish retail business right now) hundreds if not thousands of dollars per month on their utility bills. How? It performs energy audits and comprehensive commercial refrigeration efficiency upgrades.,bestledlig offer brightness along with durability, longevity and a price that's easy on the wallet. Yes, it's a simple solution, but it's also a ridiculously big opportunity for an organization that's willing to do the work.

For perspective, the recent acquisition that gave BBLU the ability to perform these audits and retrofits had served over 6000 business and utility companies in northern California alone; the number only scratches the surface.

Blue Earth Inc. isn't just a high-end refrigeration company however. Another recent acquisition has given it the ability to design and retrofit a building's HVAC and lighting systems, including integration with solar or fuel cell power generation capabilities. The service drills down into every detail of a facility's power consumption, up to and including the switch to LED light bulbs (yes, perhaps made by Acuity), and where applicable, a switch to integrated-circuit transformers that lose less power than traditional linear transformers.

For perspective, a recent contract that involves Blue Earth Inc. as a contractor is worth $60 million,Includes Helmet Mount, Pro Head Belt and ... Innovators in brightcrystal20 Technology ... lowering the energy-consumption of 2000 convenience stores at a price of about $30,000 each. There are tens of thousands more target business just like those 2000 that could all (and should be) future customers.

Between the two acquisitions, there's not a lot BBLU can't do to fully maximize the energy efficiency of a structure. The holistic 'one-stop solution' is paying off too. The company is slated to generate $56 million in revenue for 2012, versus a mere market cap of $33 million. Moreover, considering both of the acquired companies were profitable at the time they were purchased, Blue Earth Inc. may be closer to net profits than most investors realize - something for a company of this age (BBLU) has been in existence in its present form for only a few months).

Will LED Stocks Follow Solar Stocks Over the Commoditization Cliff?

One irony of green investing is that doing good does not always do well for investors. Recently the rewards for do-gooders have been abysmal. For years, I've been warning that the rapid price reductions we need to make solar mainstream are unlikely to be good for the profits of solar companies.

This year a combination of subsidy cuts in Europe and photovoltaic module oversupply brought those price reductions home to roost. Recently, PV manufactures have been scaling back expansion plans, which should help reign in module supply and the price cuts which are undermining solar manufacturer profitability.Related Searches: led bike head light, bike light, brightcrystal201 silicone,

Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) are widely assumed to be the lighting technology of the future. LEDs have found their way into televisions and computer monitors, where they are much more energy efficient than the incumbent LCD and Plasma technologies.I stock many of the parts used in these ledtube2011 projects, on my web store. As I discussed in my March article "Ten LED Stocks, and a Wildcard," LEDs are also just beginning to enter the consumer market as replacements for incandescent bulbs and Compact Fluorescent Lights (CFLs). While LED based bulbs are still much more expensive than CFLs, they have generally superior performance in several ways: They turn on instantly, are fully dimmable, work well in the cold, and last much longer. LEDs also don't come with any worries about the small amount of mercury contained in fluorescent bulbs (CFLs included.)

Although LEDs are potentially more than twice as efficient as CFLs (and ten times as efficient as conventional incandescents), my experience with replacement bulbs (I own a half dozen of various types) has been that they are only slightly more efficient per unit light output than comparable CFLs.

LED chips currently produce 100-120 lumens per watt, and typical CFLs produce 60-70 lumens per watt. But it's clear from the comparison chart from Phillips (PHG) below that the company's LED based bulbs produce only 48 lumens per watt.Design and development of lightbrigh solutions. That is likely why LED manufacturer comparison charts like the one below only reference incandescents,We can produce led panel light, brightstal according to your requirements. not CFLs.

The disappointing performance of LED screw-in bulbs is most likely because LED bulb replacements require normal household alternating current (AC) to be converted to direct current (DC), as well as to be kept cool. These added complexities have so far prevented LED replacement bulbs from achieving their full potential efficiency.

Dr. Roland Haitz (of the eponymous Haitz's Law-- the Moore's Law of the LED industry), quoted in a Cannacord Genuity research note, "views replacement bulbs as a bridge solution and believes that in 20-30 years there will be no more screw-in light bulbs. He sees fixtures transitioning into more of an integrated solution.Whether you want the complete package with very high end dual beam strobes, or basic bestledlightbu ..."

Given the difficulties of adapting LEDs to a form-factor designed for incandescent bulbs, I'm inclined to agree that replacement bulbs will continue to struggle. Instead, LEDs will continue to make headway in a growing number of lighting niche applications. They already dominate flashlights and other battery powered lighting where their preference for DC current is an advantage rather than a disadvantage. They also dominate in traffic signals, where their directional light and pure colors are an advantage. Continued price reductions will allow them to dominate an increasing number of niches.

Engineers test wireless LED contact lens on a living eye

Engineers from the US and Finland have tested a wireless contact lens featuring a working LED light on a living eye for the first time.

Although the proof-of-concept device only contained a single pixel, it could pave the way for lenses that display emails and text messages directly to the wearer's eyes or provide real-time health monitoring information such as glucose levels.Minjun Electronic Co.,Ltd have the best led bike light, and provide goodleddownlight with you,

The lens — developed by researchers at Washington and Aalto universities — consists of an antenna that receives power in the form of radio waves, an integrated circuit to store the energy and a transparent sapphire chip containing a single blue LED.

One of the key challenges in developing the lens was finding a way to allow the eye to focus on a display so close to it. The human eye cannot resolve images closer than a few centimetres so a contact lens display would normally appear blurry.

Washington University researcher Prof Babak Praviz told The Engineer that this problem was overcome using Fresnel lenses — very thin lenses that effectively consist of a series of prisms rather than a single optical element. We are professional led tube, ccrystall, led bulbs manufacturers and factory in China.

'We made thin Fresnel lenses and integrated them on contact lenses and showed that they can be used to focus light,' he said. 'This extra focusing is necessary to bring the image created on the surface of the eye [into] focus.See our bestleddownlight Lighting displays for a sample of strip lighting applications.'

But he added that the team was still far from producing a high-resolution in-focus image from a contact lens.

'Our group is working on both [the] information display and health status monitoring aspects of these contact lenses. We still have much to do and demonstrate before the lenses can be deemed fully functional and usable. It's hard to predict how fast or slow the technology will progress.'

The lens was tested on a rabbit to evaluate the effect of wearing it on the cornea. Eye surgeons examined the physiological health of the eye with biomicroscopy, using a fluorescent dye to test for any abrasion or thermal burning. The Best Led divinglight. Riding your bicycle at night without lights puts you in danger because motorists cannot see you, The success of the lens in focusing the light was tested optically.

The test also revealed some of the further problems that will need to be overcome. For example,Browse through our impressive range of bestledlights and buy online now. the device could receive wireless power from up to 1m away in free space but this was reduced to 2cm in the rabbit's eye.

'We need to improve the antenna design and the associated matching network and optimise the transmission frequency to achieve an overall improvement in the range of wireless power transmission,' Praviz said in a statement. 'Our next goal, however, is to incorporate some predetermined text in the contact lens.'

Perspectives

How will the coming price drops evolve, and should investors simply avoid the industry, or will there be ports of refuge in the coming storm? I asked three green money managers for their perspectives.

Rafael Coven, manager of the Cleantech Index which underlies the PowerShares Cleantech ETF (PZD), thinks prices for LEDs are likely to fall as fast if not faster than solar PV due to the rapid commoditization of the product. He thinks that as prices fall,Flexible bestledlight are designed for cove lighting, halo-lit channel lettering, cabinet lighting, "LEDs will start to grab share from halogen lamps first and then decorative incandescent lamps. Eventually LEDs will take share from compact fluorescent lamps where the need for dimming is high, but it will take much longer for LEDs to supplant CFLs because of CFLs longer lamp life/replacement cycle, and the diminished value proposition vs. replacing incandescent lamps with CFLs. ... [A]nywhere where labor for lamp replacement is high will be excellent applications for LEDs as well."

But there are already niches where LEDs have the advantage at current prices. Coven says, "I have already seen long-operating hour applications where LED lamps have already been effectively adapted to replace T8 fluorescent lamps with solid economic returns."

He thinks most current LED companies will not be able to survive as high volume/low cost producers,Shop our online store for goodledbulbs lights in a multitude of colors. so he suggests looking for companies with strong intellectual property that can earn significant profits from licensing, or companies with superior technology which will allow them to charge higher prices.

Garvin Jabusch of Green Alpha Advisors and manager of the Sierra Club Green Alpha Portfolio,Here is a r4onsalet for low-cost, easy use. ... As these blades spin during riding, thinks that the PV and LED industries are similar in that they have "perceived oversupply issues," but also rapidly increasing demand. He says, "The macro case for LEDs rests mainly with incandescent bulb sales being banned in the EU, US and China beginning as early as next year, and phasing to complete ban by 2016. This is significant: China alone consumes 1.07 billion incandescent bulbs per year. LEDs aren't the only alternative but they are the best one in terms of efficiency."

For ports in the storm, Jabusch points to "upstream play Aixtron AG (AIXG) which makes and sells the machines other firms use to make LEDs, and so provides a way to bet on the industry without selecting individual diode manufacturers. Govt schemes promise to bring change in state

The state government has announced a slew of schemes for infrastructure development and power conservation on the occasion of 11th Statehood Day which, if implemented, will bring positive changes that have eluded Jharkhand is last one decade.

While on one hand people-centric scheme like Bachat Lamp Yojna will reduce the power consumption per household and help conserving energy, the online monitoring of road project will improve quality of roads.

According to chief minister Arjun Munda, the schemes will bring desired development in Jharkhand in the times to come. "The state government will provide two free CFL lamps to each family living below poverty line (BPL). In case of above poverty line (APL) families, the government will provide two CFL lamps at Rs 15 each," said Munda.A dramatic addition to bluebright the city's skyline should be visible from as far away as the University of B.C. as a new public art LED lighting

To ensure quality roads in the state, the government has launched a unique real-time web-based monitoring system for the ambitious Govindpur-Sahebgunj road funded by Asian Development Bank (ADB). The online monitoring system will help in keeping a watch on land acquisition, resettlement and rehabilitation, road safety and utility shifting. The website will also have other details of the project,We are an industry leader with a huge product line of scannerstalr Bulbs, ... including a detailed project report and agreement.

To ensure smooth movement of traffic in the state capital,There are 4 types of batteries found in energysavinglight systems today. the chief minister also laid the foundation stone for construction of three flyovers. The flyovers will help ease flow of traffic on Mahatma Gandhi Road, Club Road and Circular Road will be constructed with an investment of Rs 390 crore.

Governor Syed Ahmed and chairman of state coordination committee Shibu Soren along with other ministers were also present on the occasion. The office of the Jharkhand State Highway Authority was also inaugurated.

Apart from this, the state human resource department released the blueprint for proposed knowledge hub for Jharkhand which is expected to bring a sea change in the field of education in the coming years.

Com Afrique Intelizon Company recently distributed 248 Zon light lamps to four villages in the North Bank Region.

New material can enhance energy, computer, lighting technologies

Erbium materials can remedy the situation by converting two or more photons carrying small amounts of energy into one photon that is carrying a larger amount of energy. The single, more powerful photon can then be absorbed by silicon,Flexible bestledlight are designed for cove lighting, halo-lit channel lettering, cabinet lighting, thus increasing the efficiency of solar cells.

Erbium materials also help absorb ultraviolet light from the sun and convert it into photons carrying small amounts of energy, which can then be more efficiently converted into electricity by silicon cells. This color-conversion function of turning ultraviolet light into other visible colors of light is also important in generating white light for solid-state lighting devices.

While erbium's importance is well-recognized, producing erbium materials of high quality has been challenging, Ning says.

The standard approach is to introduce erbium as a dopant into various host materials, such as silicon oxide, silicon,Welcome to the world of WiseLED ledbrightt, incredible brightness and high quality flashlights suitable for diving, and many other crystals and glasses.

"One big problem has been that we have not been able to introduce enough erbium atoms into crystals and glasses without degrading optical quality, because too many of these kinds of dopants would cluster,Hottest JDM 12V car LED bulbs, bluecrystal_4 accessories such as LED underbody lights, LED fog lights, which lowers the optical quality," he says.

What is unique about the new erbium material synthesized by Ning's group is that erbium is no longer randomly introduced as a dopant. Instead, erbium is part of a uniform compound and the number of erbium atoms is a factor of 1,000 more than the maximum amount that can be introduced in other erbium-doped materials.

Increasing the number of erbium atoms provides more optical activity to produce stronger lighting. It also enhances the conversion of different colors of light into white light to produce higher-quality solid-state lighting and enables solar cells to more efficiently convert sunlight in electrical energy.

In addition, since erbium atoms are organized in a periodic array, they do not cluster in this new compound. The fact that the material has been produced in a high-quality single-crystal form makes the optical quality superior to the other doped materials, Ning says.

Like many scientific discoveries, the synthesis of this new erbium material was made somewhat by accident.

"Similar to what other researchers are doing, we were originally trying to dope erbium into silicon nanowires. But the characteristics demonstrated by the material surprised us," he says.china lightonsalee manufacturer, supply LED Bicycle Lights,LED bike lights to your requirements. "We got a new material.Limited supply LED Writing Board, fluorescentlights,Fluorescence Board,Fluorescent Board,Menu Board, LED Menu Board, We did not know what it was, and there was no published document that described it. It took us more than a year to finally realize we got a new single-crystal material no one else had produced."

Ning and his team are now trying to use the new erbium compound for various applications, such as increasing silicon solar cell efficiency and making miniaturized optical amplifiers for chip-scale photonic systems for computers and high-speed Internet.

Porsche Panamera GTS – 430 hp and 520 Nm

Porsche has announced the introduction of the Panamera GTS, and the normally-aspirated 4.8 litre V8 that this one wears has 30 PS and 20 Nm more torque compared to the Panamera S and 4S, in this case 430 PS at 6,700 rpm and 520 Nm at 3,500 rpm. Performance figures for the 1,920 kg GTS, equipped with a seven-speed PDK gearbox, are a 0-100 km/h time of 4.5 secs and a 288 km/h top speed.

The car gets distinctive exterior cues inspired by the Turbo – it features the standard front section of the Sport-Design package of the Panamera Turbo,Ecoled offer a huge range of ledbulbs lights and Tape, single colour or colour changing for home, as well as the adaptive four-way rear spoiler from the latter.

It's also characterised by numerous black exterior styling details – for starters, there's a high-gloss black exterior package comprised of side window trim, the decorative trim on the rear lid, the headlight washer unit cover, the rear diffuser and the side air outlet panels. Add in black side skirts and matte black tailpipes of the sports exhaust system and it's a pretty comprehensive blackening process.

A further point of differentiation comes in the form of the Bi-Xenon headlights with black inner bezels. These feature four LED daytime running lights each, and like the Turbo's, are located in the main headlight. The car also gets an optional Carmine Red shade, available exclusively for it.Welcome to bestledlightll Online store,We supply led strip, led tube, led strip wholesale etc.,ccrystal are inexpensive and easy to install, and they're a must-have for night cyclists.

The standard sports exhaust system comes with larger pipe diameters to reduce back pressure, and features two tuning flaps which expose additional exhaust openings, thereby emitting an even more powerful sound. It doubles as a goodleddownlight01 and a 2-piece (AA) battery charger. The flaps are controlled by means of a switch in the centre console, which features a "last mode" function that remembers the last setting and restores it when the engine is started.

Elsewhere, there's also the Sound Symposer, which directs intake noise into the interior at the push of a button. This is achieved by an acoustic channel picking up the intake vibrations between the throttle valve and air filter – the acoustic channel incorporates a membrane that transmits the vibrations as an engine sound into the A-pillar. A controllable valve located in front of the membrane enables the Sound Symposer to be activated or deactivated by means of the Sport button.
