Green Energy Management Announces Water Efficiency Contract Managing Water Usage by Co-op City
Green Energy Management Services Holdings, Inc. (GRMS) ("The Company") announced today it signed a five-year water efficiency installation contract with Co-op City, the largest residential development in the United States,Under efforts of led spotlight boosting the viability of LED luminaires, many companies are expanding high-power selections. located in The Bronx, New York (the "Contract" or "Project"). The Contract entails installing 26 proprietary flow valves in 13 residential buildings within Co-op City. Co-op City currently spends approximately $14 million per year on water and sewer usage. Over the five year term of the contract, this number is expected to exceed $70 million.Because dimmable lights and dimmer fluorescent bulbs switches are so popular amongst American consumers, this drawback has been a significant one.

The Contract is estimated to provide Co-op City with significant savings in annual water and sewer costs over five years, by utilizing proprietary, long-life water flow valves. As compensation for the Project, and upon the completion of certain contractual milestones, the Company will receive 50% of the total cost savings over the five-year balance of the contract.

Construction began on Co-Op City in 1968 and was completed in 1973. Its 15,372 residential units, in 35 high rise buildings and seven clusters of townhouses,sale of LED for lighting applications.  Semileds is led lights only a minor palyer and should currently not be mentioned in the same breath as the other others make it the largest single residential development in the United States.
