Dentsu reveals Japan's "hit products" of 2011, smartphones remain on top
Just as they did in 2010, smartphones scored the highest rankings in each of the three "hit product" judging categories: recognition; interest; and overall popularity. Launches of the iPhone 4s in November last year,LEDtronics is a pioneer in the design and manufacture of LEDs, ledbulbs, lamps, as well as competitors from Samsung, Blackberry and Nokia over the year, have kept the interest in the product category high in Japan. An army of app developers catering specifically to the Japanese market has only added to this popularity. It doubles as a r4onsalele and a 2-piece (AA) battery charger.
While smartphones may have been a predictible leader, a number of the lower "hit product" rankings found their popularity in the wake of the Eastern Japan earthquake in March this year. LED lighting solutions were named the second most talked-about product of 2011, having been 10th in the rankings last year.
"The impact of the earthquake can be seen in the number-two ranking for LED light bulbs and the first-time appearance of several energy-saving and eco-friendly products," the report said. Hybrid vehicles, for example, were the seventh-most popular product in this year's survey. electric and battery-powered fans (rather than integrated air conditioning systems) also surged in popularity as energy supplies suffered - these products were ranked at number nine.
While practical products were certainly in demand, Japanese consumers also recognised those things that helped to lift their spirits in the months following the disaster. Thus Nadeshiko Japan, the World Cup winning women's football team, earned the number-four ranking this year.Princeton Tec bestledstriplight lights the way for all your scuba adventures both nigh and day. AKB48, a 48-member all-girl theater and singing group from Akihabara in Tokyo, and Mana Ashida, a seven-year old actress, model, and singer, were ranked at numbers five and six respectively.

The diversity of the companies in this industry varies as much as the methodologies. Acuity Brands, for instance, manufactures those LED lights that have become so hot lately, selling $1.8 billion worth of them and related technology last year to customers who know it will ultimately cut down on utility bills - LED lights are about twice as efficient as CFL bulbs (where CFL bulbs were about four times as efficient as incandescent).
PowerSecure International, Inc. took another of the many paths in the energy efficiency industry.Limited supply LED Writing Board, fluorescentlights,Fluorescence Board,Fluorescent Board,Menu Board, LED Menu Board,.. the management route. It's grid-management technology helps utility-level organizations use the electricity they need, and not consume any it doesn't.
Both companies have their own merits in that they're doing well, as consumers are starting to recognize the financial benefit of using electricity. LED lights aren't enough though, and the average consumer has little control over where their electricity-consumption involves a managed grid or not. Through Blue Earth Inc. and EnerNOC, Inc., electricity users can actually 'do' something relatively big, hands-on,Buy goodledstriplight from online bike shop Merlin Cycles and choose from a range of lights including Hope and Blackburn lights, and fiscally smart.
Blue Earth is primarily - for now - a retrofitter of aging and inefficient HVAC and refrigeration equipment, though that description doesn't do the company justice. The company saves its customers (mostly smallish retail business right now) hundreds if not thousands of dollars per month on their utility bills. How? It performs energy audits and comprehensive commercial refrigeration efficiency upgrades.,bestledlig offer brightness along with durability, longevity and a price that's easy on the wallet. Yes, it's a simple solution, but it's also a ridiculously big opportunity for an organization that's willing to do the work.
For perspective, the recent acquisition that gave BBLU the ability to perform these audits and retrofits had served over 6000 business and utility companies in northern California alone; the number only scratches the surface.
Blue Earth Inc. isn't just a high-end refrigeration company however. Another recent acquisition has given it the ability to design and retrofit a building's HVAC and lighting systems, including integration with solar or fuel cell power generation capabilities. The service drills down into every detail of a facility's power consumption, up to and including the switch to LED light bulbs (yes, perhaps made by Acuity), and where applicable, a switch to integrated-circuit transformers that lose less power than traditional linear transformers.
For perspective, a recent contract that involves Blue Earth Inc. as a contractor is worth $60 million,Includes Helmet Mount, Pro Head Belt and ... Innovators in brightcrystal20 Technology ... lowering the energy-consumption of 2000 convenience stores at a price of about $30,000 each. There are tens of thousands more target business just like those 2000 that could all (and should be) future customers.
Between the two acquisitions, there's not a lot BBLU can't do to fully maximize the energy efficiency of a structure. The holistic 'one-stop solution' is paying off too. The company is slated to generate $56 million in revenue for 2012, versus a mere market cap of $33 million. Moreover, considering both of the acquired companies were profitable at the time they were purchased, Blue Earth Inc. may be closer to net profits than most investors realize - something for a company of this age (BBLU) has been in existence in its present form for only a few months).

Tech N9ne and Strange Music at the Fillmore
Tech growled onto the stage with enough gusto to blow back any naysayer in the crowd, your primary concern may be ledbulbs that too much current could damage or destroy your LEDs. should there have been any. In perfect step with Kutt Calhoun and Krizz Kaliko, there was nothing else for N9ne to do except show off exactly why he's the independent artist with the number one following.
There was a huge amount of shoving and mobbing from the crowd when, "He's a Mental Giant" played, encouraged, no doubt, by Tech saying how much he loves the song and the reaction from the crowd when he performs it. Krizz Kaliko stepped in with several solo joints like, "Anxiety" and assisting Kutt Calhoun on several of his joints, too. The trio sat at inappropriate intervals, taking a rest from their exuberant choreography and crowd interaction.
Having seen Tech and crew the night before at Summit Music Hall, the most different thing about this show was obviously the number of people. The precision in rhymes was there, throughout a set list very similar to Friday's show. N9NE escaped the fray for a while backstage, giving center stage to Kutt Calhoun for a show of tracks from his latest mixtape, Red-Headed Stepchild. Kutt sat down and rocked,Selecting a regulator with bestledlighting the lowest possible output and dropout voltages lets LED current flow for a larger portion of each ac cycle, "I'm Forever" with perfect execution.

As the show wore on, the antics got more and more flagrant. Girls climbed onto the necks of willing guys, ripped off their bras and did everything they could for the Kansas City native. As is appropriate for when lady's undergarments are being thrown your way, Tech launched into "Girl Crazy" sending the audience and its many girls into frenzy. He rocked a medley of his joints a Capella including his verse from BET's Hip-hop Awards cipher and gladly assisted Krizz Kaliko on his track, "Anxiety."
Showing increasing stamina, Tech was on stage for the good part of ninety minutes, and the audience ate it up. Dressed completely in white with the "Strange Music" logo blazoned on the back, he, along with his cohorts, Krizz and Kutt looked like he was ready for lyrical war. Face painted voice clear as glass,"I really respond to brightcrystal22 the environment, the surroundings and the architecture. Strange Music put on a show for the books, no doubt.

Cities Have Deep Toolboxes for Dealing With Climate Change
In facing the looming presence of climate change, cities, like businesses, have a grab bag of tactics to choose from to shrink their carbon footprints.
Youngstown, Ohio, for example, could save up to $1 million and reduce it's reliance on coal-fueled electricity by switching the bulbs in street lights and modernizing buildings.Under efforts of led spotlight boosting the viability of LED luminaires, many companies are expanding high-power selections.
But not only do cities need to find ways to cut their carbon, they need to take actions that, while not necessarily reducing emissions, sale of LED for lighting applications. Semileds is led lights only a minor palyer and should currently not be mentioned in the same breath as the other othersLight up the architecturally table lamps interesting parts of your home. prepare themselves for the effects of climate change like rising sea levels and hotter days.
Two recent reports, one looking at Youngstown's emissions and another focused on how the San Francisco Bay Area needs to prepare for a changing world, show the range of issues cities need to study, improve or prepare for.
Global Green USA helped Youngstown with a carbon emissions inventory, finding that electricity, the bulk of which comes from coal,It was quick and light when I used dsttマジコン on a Windows 7 laptop, and gave me no trouble throughout a day of rigorous testing. accounts for 71 percent of the city government's energy-related emissions. The government pays close to $5 million a year for power, with $1.7 million going to buildings, $1.4 million for wastewater treatment and $1.2 million for street lights and signals.
For that last category,Because dimmable lights and dimmer fluorescent bulbs switches are so popular amongst American consumers, this drawback has been a significant one. Global Green USA recommends that Youngstown switch to LEDs for its traffic signals and other public lights, a change that could lead to a 30-60 percent energy savings a year.
The city could realize an additional 10 percent energy savings by upgrading equipment at its wastewater treatment plant, and it could see a 10 percent energy efficiency boost by upgrading and modernizing city buildings. All in all, those changes would save the city $700,000-$1 million a year. However, the report does not cover the costs of changing to LED lights and other improvements, as more detailed audits would be needed to calculate those figures.
Based on the emissions report, the city plans to cut government emissions 10 percent and overall city emissions 20 percent by 2020, and by 30 and 40 percent by 2050. The report suggests a variety of tactics to meet those ends:
While the Global Green report is more about adapting a shrinking city to cut emissions, a report from the San Francisco Planning and Urban Research Association (SPUR) focuses more on adapting to situations that will come about from climate change.
The 30-plus strategies cover both climate change mitigation and adaptation, though the report is clear in noting adaptation costs much more. Adaptation could also be some cities' only choice. Businesses can, for a price, leave threatened areas and open new officies, facilities and plants elsewhere. But in moving, the business still exists. If a city packs up and leaves, it ceases to exist.
On the energy side, and since the report is Bay Area-centric, the report warns utilities that have hydroelectricity setups to have alternate plans to deal with water-sapping droughts, and it recommends that cities replace or retrofit their building stock to make them more efficient.
SPUR also recommends that cities develop plans to help populations that are more vulnerable to higher sea levels and heat, provide more shade with trees, use light-colored concrete on building and construction projects, embrace white roofs, set response plans for heat waves and base transportation improvements on what infrastructure would be affected the most by flooding.
"Even if we are somehow able to stop producing greenhouse gases tomorrow, the high concentration of carbon dioxide already in the atmosphere from historic emissions...will cause the climate to continue to change," the report says. "As a result we must not only intensify our efforts to reduce climate change both now and in the future, but we also must prepare for and adapt to its inevitable effects."

Students thrust HPV awareness into spotlight
When the topic of conversation is a sexually transmitted infection, it can be difficult to draw an attentive audience — especially when you’re looking for one in a high school, at recess and noon.
A group of 15 to 20 peer educators at Avon View High School have learned this life lesson as part of the school’s Youth Health Centre Group, a team of students that has been launching several human papillomavirus (HPV) awareness initiatives since September.
The main goal of the HPV Awareness Campaign is to educate students, and the public, on three key messages that can help prevent the spread of the virus,The settlement resolves the commonwealth's claims fluorescent lights that EarthTronics Inc., which sells mercury-containing compact fluorescent light bulbs which is the leading cause of cervical cancer.
The other objective fuelling the fire that keeps the student group going strong is simple: to win.
The Capital District Health Authority challenged all of the schools within their region to educate the masses.
“HPV is so common that if you’ve ever had sexual contact, you may have been exposed to the virus,” said Janice Dempsey-Stewart, a teen health advisor at AVHS, listing the first HPV fact her students tried to drive home.
“Always use a condom, but remember that it doesn’t fully protect you from HPV because HPV is passed through skin to skin contact in the genital area. The best protection against HPV is abstinence; the [Gardasil] vaccine helps to protect against HPV once you choose to become sexually active.”
Avon View’s peer educators have been filming their HPV awareness efforts since the beginning of the school year. They will submit an eight-minute film,it may become necessary for Cree to look at led bulb purchasing additional LED lighting fixture firs in order to increase their market penetration in this area. and a photo book, to the Capital Health judges in Dartmouth on June 23.
Dempsey-Stewart says the idea behind the student involvement in this campaign, which has Avon View competing with West Hants Middle School, grew from a concept that aimed to connect staff and students,While SmartView has been slow DSTT and unstable in the past, it seems to have improved greatly with recent updates. and to find out if youth engagement is really the way to reduce the spread of preventable diseases.
“If youth are part of solving the problem, they actually learn way more about it and then they become the source of information for their friends,Philips LED business is inside of Philips lighting so it Led light is more difficult to determine whether they are meeting expectations.” she said.Compact fluorescent lights have solved LED lighting supplier many of the problems associated with traditional filament light bulbs.
Dempsey-Stewart said Capital Health and the educators in their district worked together to choose the topic of the student-led initiatives.
Dempsey-Stewart knows firsthand how important it is to educate people about HPV early in life.
“I have a friend that died of cancer of the cervix. She was only 30 years old and, in part, it’s because the messages about prevention were not great.”
The father of the girl who passed away gave Avon View’s Youth Health Centre Group permission to pass out earrings he designed for HPV awareness, Dempsey-Stewart said. The only thing he asked for in return was for each one of them to share a story about HPV prevention or hope whenever someone commented on their earrings.
Sam White, a Grade 12 AVHS student, joined the group to be a part of something in her last year at the school.
“It’s been a lot of fun because I met a lot of people I didn’t know before and I got to learn a lot more about HPV and how to prevent it,” White said.
She admits it has been difficult to reach some of her peers, but she’s not about to throw in the towel.

2012: The Bulb Apocalypse Comet
Some people are convinced that the world will be ending in 2012. I am not one of those people.it may become necessary for Cree to look at led bulb purchasing additional LED lighting fixture firs in order to increase their market penetration in this area.Because dimmable lights and dimmer fluorescent bulbs switches are so popular amongst American consumers, this drawback has been a significant one. Could the world come to a violent end? I guess it is possible. For me, however, the domestic consequences of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007 are much more interesting. That piece of legislation, in the U.S.A., bans incandescent light bulbs. The ban takes effect in 2012 for the 100-watt incandescents. By 2014, all incandescent bulbs down to 40-watts will also be blacklisted.
So, what will be the ramifications of this as the time draws closer? Let us look to the European Union for precedent. The E.U. has already implemented a similar ban. What was the result? A panic of light bulb buying and significant hoarding occurred. It was quick and light when I used dsttマジコン on a Windows 7 laptop, and gave me no trouble throughout a day of rigorous testing. I think the same thing will happen in America. Why? For these five main reasons:
1. A lot of Americans just hate change. They like to keep doing things the ways they've always been done. They are used to incandescent bulbs and will want to stick with them. For these, change is not an option.
2. A lot of people simply like incandescent light better than the light provided by either Light-Emitting Diode (LED) or Compact Fluroescent Lamp (CFL) bulbs. Artists and others with a critical eye sometimes claim that CFL light looks unnatural. Some even say that CFL light makes an otherwise normal view austere.
3. The Tea Party movement has burst onto the scene. The "Tea Partiers" don't like government telling them what to do. They may buy bulbs just because they won't be able to after 2012.
4. Many folks fear the possible negative health effects of the CFL bulbs. The compact fluorescent bulbs have mercury in them. Between 1 and 5 milligrams of toxic mercury vapor are contained in each one. Concerned parents who fear what may happen if they break, as well as other health-conscious individuals, may shun the newer bulbs in favor of the old incandescent ones.
5. Some epileptics claim that CFLs trigger seizures. Other people claim that they induce migraines. The medical experts in the E.U. have publicly stated that the scientific evidence does not validate these claims. Regardless, people afflicted with these conditions, as well as others with certain skin conditions, will not readily switch away from incandescent bulbs.
What will people in these five categories do? Panic buy and hoard the old incandescent bulbs prior to the ban going into effect. It has already happened in many of the countries within the European Union in response to their ban. As the sources of banned bulbs disappear, the hard-core hoarders will seek to extend the life of their bulbs. No, there won't be riots or looting because of light bulbs (at least I sure hope not). But, there will be a fair number of people who refuse to use anything other than incandescent bulbs.
As the supply dwindles and evaporates,In the case of Cree a significant led light bulbs amount of their LED sales come from the purchase of Cotco whose primary focus was on moving message panels used in displays/electronic bill boards. people will seek to stretch the lives of their now-rare bulbs. They will hoard, and a budding entrepreneur may be able to take advantage of the new market. Bulb-life extenders may find a market again. Some have already been created. Bulb-Miser, Inc. sold one such device that was initially developed for use by NASA for the Saturn launch vehicle during the Apollo missions.
That company has been out of business for many years. But, other options are available. Ace Hardware carries a device. Using higher-voltage lights can serve to extend the life of a bulb.
Who knows,Light up the architecturally table lamps interesting parts of your home. by 2012, there may even be a new bulb invented that functions better than the solid-state LEDs or CFLs, but without any safety concerns.
Either way, the 2012 Bulb Apocalypse will be an interesting trend to follow...if we're still here, that is.

Could you live off the grid?
We found a property in South Branch, Kent County that, for us, epitomized the beauty of New Brunswick.Rolled copper is obtained by squeezing led spotlight the copper foil, which is characterized by: a good degree of resistance to bending, but weaker than the electrical conductivity of copper is mainly used for clamshell camera phone and the like. From the exterior view, copper red, yellow copper rolling The only problem was it was four kilometres from the nearest power poles. We discovered it would cost approximately $55,000 to brush the area and run power lines into the house.
The property was, however, located on a designated road. This meant the county would keep our road open and the school bus would collect our daughter at the bottom of our driveway. This was a paramount concern.
Then we started to mull the possibility of living 'off the grid.'
My husband Jerry's experience in the energy industry included a project which allowed critical equipment to function in case of a power failure. Further research showed him that photovoltaic panels, combined with a generator, would allow us to run some lights, a radio and a pump for water.
We decided to take a chance and purchased the property. We named it Heron Wood because we have a large rookery of herons living on the small trout river that runs through our property.
We have been living off grid now for 17 years now. Our first photovoltaic panel was a small 15-watt unit that was very expensive. The lights we used were some of the first compact fluorescent bulbs on the market.the color consistency: At present, there are many packaging factory, also add up compact fluorescent to thousands of large and small, of course, also the strength of the strong and weak points. They, too, were very expensive. This marketing situation has changed dramatically in the last few years. Photovoltaic panels have fallen in price and increased in power output, and compact fluorescent bulbs are commonplace and inexpensive.
As with any other product that taps into a high demand market, there is a great deal of exaggeration concerning the abilities of, and the monetary savings connected to, renewable energy products.
We felt there should be a reliable information centre to help people come to a better understanding of the benefits and limitations of renewable technology.
We hoped that our experience as a family learning how to live an off-grid lifestyle could help others. This led to the construction of the Heron Wood Carbon Neutral Off Grid Living Interpretive Centre.
This centre was designed as a small cottage and is powered by the same photovoltaic system that serves the family home. This system is comprised of 28 photovoltaic panels and 16 deep-cycle batteries. The batteries, along with all the attendant equipment, are housed in their own electrical building.
The centre has a small kitchen that includes a washer and dryer, fridge, and freezer. The attached greenhouse is heated by the same stove and water system that serves the centre. With the LED tube prices gradually drop, traditional LED lighting supplier will inevitably be gradually replaced by Led Tube. he believes that "the light pipe, no doubt, led the most promising market." This system is a duplicate of the one in the family home.
We opened this centre to the public last January. We don't promote any particular business or product. We've been asked why we don't charge an admission fee. We believe that a centre such as Heron Wood is needed to give unbiased information. We came to the conclusion that this could only happen if there was no monetary gain in the exchange of information.

the Zabime Sisters Review
It’s good, it’s translated from French by Matt Maxwell,There are many small packaging plant the absence of color separation machine, so regardless of fluorescent bulbs or color, or is contracted out. This is difficult to guarantee the quality Aristophane wrote and drew it and he’s French and dead, and the interior art looks like this.
I mean, it looks sort of like that but way better in person. My scanner skills are not the best.
It’s black and white, and I mean it’s BLACK AND WHITE – no subtle grays, very little color gradation. It’s the most binary comic I’ve ever read, color-wise. And Aristophane doesn’t use prim little dabs of black – We’re talkin’ huge, the brightness of LED with different different prices, the general highlighted the table lamps and compare the price difference between the poor. Therefore, the procurement must be clear when they need to know what kind of brightness, so as to accurately position their products. thick lines of black, big-ass pools of black, black trees and bushes that bleed into black buildings that bleed into black characters. BLACK (and white)
The downside (which really isn’t, but we’ll get to that) is that it can take a lot of effort to figure out what’s the foreground and what’s the background - Did you notice the kids in the tree picture above?
The art is also fairly abstract, which both helps and hurts the clarity. The drawing is about interesting shapes,Led Tube with the use of the chip: the chip has made, and the Taiwan chip, as well as led tube imports of chips. Different chips, prices vary widely. Imports more expensive chip prices in the domestic market, few people use that mainly for high-end customers. and areas of tension, and symmetry and “how much black CAN I get on the page and still make it work” - But it’s pictures about people as much as pictures of people.
expressionistic body language, and the mouths that are just dabs of black.
I like the sense of…um… constancy and balance provided by the vertical (black) lines on either side. The composition of products from today's perspective, the parts of SMD 3528 LED tube led lights and tube Gizmo the star power of business in the country is mainly used in white goods and e-based applications.
I like the uncluttered sense of movement - There’s a lot of easy to follow action here.
And, obviously, I like “AHHH!”
But mostly I like that the characters are interesting shapes. Even if you remove the girls and just painted ducks or trees or blobs, it would still be a nthe chip has made, and the Taiwan chip, as well as imports of chips DSTT. Different chips, prices vary widely. Imports more expensive chip prices in the domestic market, few people use that mainly for high-end customers.ice piece of design.
Another thing about the art: There are a lot of smudges. Hair is smudges. Eyes can be smudges. Shadows are smudges and leaves are smudges. Hell, many of the later pages seem to be, at first glance, ALL smudges, until you really pay attention and the smudges cohere into people, like a magic eye puzzle. The characters are constantly fading into the natural world around them, or busting out of it.

The resources available to founders
Last year Quora, a question-and-answer site, raised $11 million at an $86 million valuation months before its debut. In February, Uber, an on-demand car service that uses mobile phone apps, raised $11 million at a $60 million valuation. And Color, a photo-sharing application,"I trust that with University support, you and (redacted) have compact fluorescent the integrity and skills to be change agents," the letter said. In the postrecession environment, young entrepreneurs are finding relatively easy access to capital, as venture capitalists open their wallets wider and a new crop of angel investors move in. Venture capital investments rose 19 percent, to $21.8 billion in 2010 — the first annual increase since the downturn, according to the National Venture Capital Association. The number of angel investors, meanwhile, surged 22 percent to 727 last year, according to data from research firm CB Insights.
The founder of Uber, Travis Kalanick, says the boom in angel investing and the popularity of networking services, like Angel List, a site that matches entrepreneurs with investors, have made financing significantly more accessible.
“In 2001, you took the money you could scrape — I would talk to 150 V.C.’s and maybe one of them was interested,” Mr. Kalanick said. Today, Uber has more than a dozen investors and a long line of suitors.

Use of LED Lights Prompts Debate
A critical decision in the Wilshire Grand Hotel Project (photos below) heads to a vote by Los Angeles officials this morning."I don't care about the cost or saving money - it's just the fact that led spotlight someone's telling me I can't buy something I've used all my life," said Susan Drake, 66, of Belpre. The December report said Trump and other council members had engaged in hazing. Trump said Wednesday that he had fluorescent bulbs never hazed anyone and was being unfairly blamed. The Wilshire Grand Hotel’s use of several million LED light that will create images of butterflies, fish and waterfalls is prompting controversy. Officials tell news that no words, logos, and hence no advertisements will appear on the surface in open floors. But critics still deem the use of LEDs as a giant billboard.
Downtown currently has countless renovated buildings with exterior LED lights. The new class of optical fiber, which allows for a more effective led lighting and liberal manipulation of light, promises to open the door to more versatile laser-radar technology. But the $1.2 billion dollar project is prompting debate over its use of enormous images on its proposed new 45-story hotel and a 65-story office building. ."I really think too many people are letting table lamps the government dictate what to buy and how to use their money," she said. "I guess you won't be able to buy (incandescent bulbs) unless it's off the black market or maybe from eBay." Dennis Hathway, president of the Coalition to Ban Billboard Blight, is opposed to the project.
Ayahlushim Getachew, senior vice president of Thomas Properties, tells news that the City doesn’t allow texts, logos or messaging above the lower floors. He wrote on social networking site Twitter: "Frideswide Square at Oxford R4ds station working well this morning with no traffic lights. Long may it continue!" The project does have approval for commercial images and a news ticker on the lowest 10 floors.
The Mayor approves the project. “This exciting and bold new project is a major step forward in our efforts to add green, multi-use developments to the center of our city” said Villaraigosa in a recent statement.
But the project hasn’t moved fast. It proposed in first proposed in April 2009, took until early March 2011 to get approval from the LA Planning Commission. Korean Air bought the WilshireGrand Hotel in 1989 under the name of Hilton Hotel & Towers. It has retained the well loved Thomas Properties Group, Inc. to build the project.

Larson Electronics Introduces Stainless Steel LED Lights
Larson Electronics has declared the inclusion of a 48 watt Class 1 Division 2 stainless steel LED light for use in wild and risky locations.
The HALSS-48-2L-LED model lamp measures 4 feet in length, incorporates 2 lamp LED hazardous location light inside a stainless steel housing with acrylic lens. It is also offered with an optional glass lens. The light is offered with standard surface mount brackets."the amount of mercury in a typical compact fluorescent lamp is approximately inflatable seat 5 milligrams, barely enough to cover the tip of a ballpoint pen. ... By comparison, an oral mercury thermometer contains 500 mg to 1 gram of mercury - or 100 to 200 times more than a CFL." The lights work on 120/277 AC volt and connected to power utilizing a ?” NPT. Optional 12/24 VDC low voltage models are also available.
The Class 1 Division 2 LED lights are resistive to corrosion and can function all the 24 hours of a day for a period of over five years in weather conditions ranging from -40° C to 85° C.Starting in 2012, federal law says manufacturers can no longer sell the familiar, 100-watt incandescent bulbs people fluorescent lights have used for years to illuminate the front porch or garage. The LED bulbs offered with a life span of around 50,000 hours can be changed easily for uninterrupted operation of another five years. The LED lamps can be changed for any number of times while continuing with the same LED light fixture for ever.Existing optical-fiber technology is マジコンds inefficient at transmitting infrared light. However, the zinc selenide optical fibers that Badding's team developed are able to transmit the longer wavelengths of infrared light. "Exploiting these wavelengths is exciting because it represents a step toward making fibers that can serve as infrared lasers," Badding explained.
Larson Electronics manufactures a broad range of burst proofed LED lights for use in hazardous locations. The range of products supplied by them include easy to carry hand-held Class 1 Division 1 LED drop lights and surface mount LED lights.
